Writers often need to sell their work and themselves, and that means crafting effective pitches. Emerging and established writers alike must capture the spirit of their work along with their artistic achievements in just a few words. That’s not easy! But by applying core principles of effective pitches, you’ll increase your chances of success, whether you’re pitching an article or a book.

In this interactive, virtual workshop for fiction and nonfiction writers, you’ll:

  • Learn a framework that will give any pitch the best chance for success with editors and agents

  • See models of great pitches, and terrible ones!

  • Draft elements of a pitch and get personal feedback

  • Gather resources

  • Ask your burning questions about pitching
