Not sure what to give the writer in your life for the holidays--or anytime you need a special gift?

Gift Certificates for Flatiron Writers Room workshops, retreats and events make a wonderful gift. A gift certificate can be for any amount you'd like. You can find a full list of current events on our Workshops, Retreats, or News & Events pages.

Once you purchase a Flatiron Writers Room Gift Certificate, just send the confirmation email to the lucky recipient, or print it and put it in a card to be delivered by hand. Once the recipient selects an event to attend, we will instruct them on how to register using their Gift Certificate.

Gift Certificates Terms and Conditions (by purchasing you agree to the following):

  • Fees: The amount of the purchased gift certificate before Eventbrite fees are added is applied directly to the cost of classes and/or services.   If you prefer to purchase with a check, mail it with your email address and recipient's name to us at po box 658, Asheville, NC  28802. 

  • Expiration: Gift certificates expire one year after date of purchase.

  • Replacement: If you lose or misplace your gift certificate, please contact us at info@flatironwriters.com.  The email confirmation is for your information only; the actual gift certificate information is retained by us and a new email is easily sent out.  Please supply us with the name of the individual who purchased the gift certificate and the approximate date so that we may locate it in our system.

  • Redemption and value: Gift certificates are issued and redeemed in US$. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash by the recipient.

  • Some workshops/events require permission of the instructor to enroll, and space in all workshops/events is limited. Purchase of a gift certificate does not guarantee admission to a particular workshop/event.

  • Merchant Rights: The Flatiron Writers Room reserves the right to refuse a gift certificate as payment for services if there is reasonable doubt as to the gift certificate's authenticity.
